Triumph in Istanbul - 2008
Istanbul is a city located on two continents: Europe and Asia. It offers a mixture of various cultures, hundreds of mosques, a specific climate, and a tennis tournament on clay courts. In 2007, the Radwański sisters won a common title in the doubles tournament here. A year later, Agnieszka came to Istanbul to fight for a singles title.
That was Agnieszka’s third final and her third victory. Thanks to the triumph in the Istanbul Cup Agnieszka maintained her No. 15 position in the WTA ranking – the highest position in her career until then. In the final she defeated the future Olympic champion from Beijing - Elena Dementieva, with whom she won 6:3, 6:2.
The titles won in Istanbul and in Brussels are Agnieszka’s only victories in clay court tournaments. This is not her favorite surface. Agnieszka definitely feels better on hardcourts and grass courts.

This exclusive, outstandingly spacious, air-conditioned Deluxe Type apartment consists of a large, comfortable bedroom with a mini dressing room, a comfortable living room with a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, induction hob, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, and a table for four, as well as a bathroom with a large shower. The apartment is situated in the skillion, without a lift, on the second floor. The interior is decorated with many memorabilia and photos from the unforgettable tournament in Istanbul.
In all our apartments a crib and a baby chair, for children under two, may be provided FREE of charge on request :) At our clients' disposal there is also a laundry with a drying room next to the main reception on level -1. All our apartments have air-conditioning, two TV's, an iron and an ironing board, and a hair dryer. In each apartment guests can use the free internet.
Tennis fans will be able to enjoy the sight of unique tennis memorabilia connected with Agnieszka: the match dress, a Srixon rackets, as well as balls and photographs with her autographs. The tennis props used as the decor elements allow the guests to feel like participants of one of the great tournaments.
